DO IT AGAIN

I am so proud to see how our church responded at Thanksgiving during the Petal Children's Task Force Food Drive.  We were responsible for 110 packages of spaghetti and jars of sauce. The end result...OVER 200 OF EACH!  It was an awesome response to a great project in our city!  Well guess what?  We get to DO IT AGAIN.  This time, the task force is asking for our church to donate gifts for Christmas.  We're calling it our TOY TIDAL WAVE and the time in NOW!

TOY TIDAL WAVE

THIS Sunday December 15 will be delivery day for the Toy Tidal Wave.  Everyone bring at least two toys for ages 12 to 15 year old.  The toys can cost between $10 and $25 and will be distributed by the Task Force here in Petal.  Some toy ideas are:

FIGHT

Man. He was created in the image of God with a warrior’s heart. Designed to fight. But what does it mean to fight like a man? And how do we arm ourselves in order to defeat the demons that make strong men fall?

This Saturday, October 26th, Turning Pointe Church is hosting a men's only event that looks at what it takes to fight the battles we need to fight as men – the ones that determine the state of our hearts, the quality of our marriages, and the spiritual health of our families. 

The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. at our Main Street Office at 804 S. Main St. Unit 1, Petal.  This event is completely free except for your time.  We will dismiss at 11 a.m. so that you can get home to enjoy the remainder of your Saturday.  Don't forget, at 7:30 we will be serving breakfast (that's free for you).   Invite someone to come who is in need of encouragement.  Decide that this is the day to stand up and fight.
